The children were thrilled to create their own colorful chocolate. They scattered stars, marshmallows, pretzels, marzipan carrots, chocolate lentils, and more onto dark and white chocolate. Some worked with intense concentration, placing each sprinkle carefully, while others heaped spoonfuls of treats onto their chocolate puddles. And then there were those for whom only every fifth candy made it onto the chocolate\u2014the rest went straight into little mouths. Fixing cookies onto cake pop sticks without breaking them isn\u2019t easy. Luckily, sandwich cookies with extra cream and melted chocolate came to the rescue!\n\nOf course, the older Minis also had heaps of decorations to work with. But before decorating began, the most important question had to be settled: \u201cAre we allowed to taste them?\u201d Once the \u201csnacking permit\u201d was granted, the nibbling and decorating began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To inspire the kids, I had prepared three examples the night before: a snowman, Santa Claus, and my favorite, \u201cRudolph the Reindeer.\u201d But as soon as I started tinting white icing red for Santa, one child asked shyly if they could have blue icing\u2026 And in that moment, I knew my evening prep work had been in vain!
