But this time, there\u2019s a twist: today we\u2019re making stamped cookies! If the dough gets too soft, it becomes sticky and may spread in the oven. For round stamps, special round cookie cutters are easier to use than a knife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there are also cookie cutters that make it even easier to cut the printed dough from the dough sheet. These cutters are recommended for round cookie stamps, as round cookies can't be cut evenly with a knife. By keeping the dough cool and lightly flouring the stamp before pressing, it always released cleanly from the raw dough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stamp was also easy for my Minis to handle. After 2\u20133 tries, they knew how firmly to press to get an even imprint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even after baking, the imprint was clearly visible \u2013 though it\u2019s important to keep the dough from getting too warm during handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can really recommend this cookie stamp for Christmas baking with kids.
