This strawberry cake is wonderfully fluffy, and you can bake it quickly and easily with your kids! Then set them aside for a moment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the all-in-one dough, put sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, juice of one lemon, eggs, butter, spelt flour, baking powder, milk and a pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix all ingredients with a hand mixer until you have a smooth dough.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now add the strawberries to the batter and gently fold them in. They should be completely covered by the batter, otherwise they might burn during baking (and that doesn't look very pretty...)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake the strawberry cake for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Please check if the strawberry cake is done by inserting a skewer into the center of the cake. (<a href=\"https:\/\/backenmitminis.de\/en\/2023\/02\/24\/mein-backtipps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to perform a swab test<\/a>.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the strawberry cake is fully baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove it from the pan and let it cool further on a cooling rack. (<strong>Mini-Tip<\/strong> You may need a small knife to remove the cake from the springform pan.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The strawberry cake is decorated for the first day of school<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After the strawberry cake has cooled, mix the icing from powdered sugar, lemon juice, and pink food coloring.
