“Sprinkle confetti on it…!”
Hello & welcome to my confetti-colored baking blog “Baking with Kids”!
You've probably just read through one or two delicious recipes and would now like to know who sprinkles all these delicacies with confetti and then enjoys them:
It's me! Lia. Passionate muffin baker with a great love for colorful confetti battles and sweet cake decorations... and of course the Minis' private baker!
Even when I wasn't yet the mother of two sweet tooths, I loved baking - preferably at Christmas time.
Meanwhile, the baking sessions I take part in have become a lot more lively and the cake creations have become a lot more colorful! Through “Baking with Kids” I’ve been able to try out some great products, take part in interesting events and productions with creative fellow bloggers and – my highlight – work as a co-author on a magical children’s baking book.
Although I started the Baking with Kidss blog, I should welcome you here to OUR baking blog, because this baking blog wouldn't be "Baking with Kids" without my kids! Since my minis have made my life more colorful, I've mostly been baking with them - and if not with them, then definitely for them. While in the beginning they enthusiastically helped me stir, decorate and lick the food, they now support me with creative ideas and ideas.
Baking with kids is like confetti on a cake – colorful, varied, chaotic and always great fun!
Nevertheless, there are quite a few parents who have great respect for letting their children get involved in the kitchen. There are many reasons for this:
- Risk of injury
- big mess
- no time
- etc.
Under the catagory Tips & Tricks I share helpful tricks with you that have been tested and found to be good by my kids & me and that make the reasons mentioned above fade away, so that baking with kidss becomes a particularly nice pastime together for everybody.
For me, one of the crucial points for a successful, stress-free baking session is a recipe that is quick and easy to implement with the minis. Of course, you can also find recipes like this here – under the category "recipes".
It's really great that you're here!
Because just like eating cake together, creating colorful treats is more fun together. If you have any comments or questions or would like to share your baking results with me, I would be very happy about it.
Now sprinkle confetti on it… 🙂
Yours, Lia
