Today, I’m taking you “behind the scenes” at Backen mit Mini and sharing my “To-Want List” for the fourth quarter of 2025. . Exciting times ahead!
Wow, it’s already October, which means the last – and for a mother of two minis and a baking blogger, very baking-intensive – quarter of the year has begun. Just like last year, I’m participating again in Judith’s “Blogtoberfest” and, together with many other bloggers, have summarized my wishes and goals for the final quarter of the year. Last year, not only did this blogging event introduce me to many new, exciting blogs and help me make wonderful blogger connections, but I was also able to accomplish many of the goals on my first “To-Want List” (feel free to check it out!)..
If you’re wondering what a “To-Want List” is… here’s a quick explanation: The “To-Want List” is the little sister of the well-known bucket list. While a bucket list contains everything you want to achieve by the end of your life, a To-Want List lists the things you want to accomplish within a specific time frame (in this case, three months). Perfect for the last quarter of the year!
This year, I thought I’d again give you a little behind-the-scenes look at my blog planning and goals for Q4. Most of my “To Wants” relate to my blog and Backen mit Minis, but I’ll also include a few personal goals. Let’s go!
My “To-Want List” for Backen mit Minis
- Write 12 blog posts in Q4 – one blog post every week until New Year’s Eve
- Finally launch an eBook – I’ve had the idea for a long time and hope to make it happen this year!
- Monthly newsletters – over the next three months, I want to send out a newsletter with tips and ideas for baking with minis. Don’t miss the next Baking News! Sign up now if you haven’t yet.
- Gain 20 new newsletter subscribers
- Reach 50,000 visitors in 30 days – let’s see what December brings ;)
- Complete the translation of my blog posts into English
- Finalize my rough blog planning for H1 2025
- Organize a blog parade – it was so much fun last year, so why not repeat it this year? (Planning has just started… stay tuned!)
- Participate in a blog parade organized by someone else – blog parades are a great way to discover amazing blogs and network. If you organize one, let me know!
My “To-Want List” for Baking
- Bake something Halloween-themed goodie for our neighborhood Halloween party
- Autumn cookie-baking afternoon with my minis and some of their friends – we started this tradition in Lüneburg and continued it last year in Frankfurt. Traditions are meant to be kept!
- Plan a baking event in our community – last year we made cool Halloween cupcakes. Let’s see what we’ll create this year.
- Try choux pastry using grandma’s recipe for cream puffs – this was already on last year’s list. This year, I hope to succeed!
- Visit the “Kreativ Welt” fair in Offenbach
My “To-Want List” Beyond Baking
- Enjoy a wonderful weekend in Riga
- Discover a new city in Germany
- It would be amazing to plan our summer vacation this early – this is almost a miracle for us 😉
- Get a new wardrobe for the bedroom
- Visit Colmar during Christmas – probably crowded, but it’s supposed to be beautiful!
- Run a New Year’s Eve race (maybe even in costume this year!)
- Do 30 push-ups in a row
- Organize a Christmas coffee with friends
I’m already excited to see which items I can check off my “To-Want List” by the last day of the year. Of course, I’ll take you along as I cross off each item!
Right now, I’m thinking about which item to start with… a “To-Want List” is such a great motivation booster! If you feel inspired, join in. So ein liebevoller und inspirierender Beitrag, liebe Lia!
Man spürt in jeder Zeile, wie viel Herz, Struktur und Freude du in Backen mit Minis steckst, und wie sehr du Kinder (und Eltern!) ermutigst, Backen als gemeinsames Erlebnis zu sehen, nicht nur als Ergebnis.
Deine To-Want-Liste zeigt so schön, dass Planung auch Leichtigkeit haben darf – sie klingt nach Vanilleduft, Mehlstaub und jeder Menge Lebensfreude.
Ich finde besonders berührend, wie du Business, Familie und Kreativität miteinander verbindest – echt, alltagsnah und voller Begeisterung.
Danke fürs Mitnehmen „hinter die Kulissen“, dein Beitrag macht Lust, selbst wieder öfter mit kleinen Händen Teig zu kneten und große Erinnerungen zu schaffen.

Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen kann manchmal augenöffnend sein, denke ich! Natürlich backe ich gerne mit meinen Minis und blogge auch gerne darüber, gleichzeitig gibt es bei mir natürlich auch zig andere Themen, da braucht es Planung und auch mal etwas Leichtigkeit, um gelegentlich auch den Plan Plan sein zu lassen. Das ist bei mir nicht anders als bei anderen 🙂
Ich freue mich sehr darüber, wenn mein Blog dich dazu inspiriert, deine Hände wieder in Mehl zu tauchen und gemeinsame Erinnerungen zu schaffen!
