Cinnamon chocolate almonds
When I think of Christmas presents from the kitchen, almonds cannot be missing. The classic is probably the roasted almonds, but chocolate almonds are also definitely worth a sin!

Ingredients
- 300 g whole almonds
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 70 g baking cocoa
- 20g powdered sugar
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate in a water bath
- Add cinnamon
- Spread the liquid chocolate over the almonds and mix well (so that all the almonds are coated with chocolate)
- Place the baking cocoa and powdered sugar in a sieve and sift over the chocolate almonds (the chocolate must still be liquid)
- Now shake the bowl with the almonds a little so that the sifted cocoa is evenly distributed over the almonds.
- Finally, spread the almonds on baking paper to dry. They should be in one layer if possible.
The delicious cinnamon-chocolate almonds are now ready to give as gifts
Vanilla chocolate almonds
Ingredients
- 300 g whole almonds
- 100 g white chocolate
- Pulp of a vanilla bean
- 80g powdered sugar
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate in a water bath
- Add the vanilla bean pulp
- Spread the liquid chocolate over the almonds and mix well (so that all the almonds are coated with chocolate)
- Place powdered sugar in a sieve and sift over chocolate almonds (the chocolate must still be liquid)
- Now shake the bowl with the almonds a little so that the sifted powdered sugar is evenly distributed over the almonds.
- Finally, spread the almonds on baking paper to dry.
Roasted almonds
Ingredients
- 200g almonds
- 100 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3-4 tablespoon water
Preparation
- Put water, cinnamon and sugar in a pan and bring to the boil.
- When the sugar water starts to bubble, add the almonds and from now on only stir with a wooden spoon.
- First the water evaporates and the almonds get a white sugar coating. You have to keep stirring now. After about 5-7 minutes, the sugar begins to caramelize and becomes liquid again and this time the almond gets the familiar brown “caramel coat”. It is important that you stir thoroughly as the almonds can burn quickly.
- Finally, let them cool on baking paper - if possible individually so that they don't stick to each other.

- Christmas sprinkles*
- Chocolate snow crystals*
Preparation
- Place oat pillows, mini pretzels, peanuts & cashews in a mixing bowl
