It is now the 3rd anniversary of the Christmas blog parade and just like the first time, we are full of joy and present you our Christmas gifts from the kitchen. My minis receive a chocolatey surprise!
This year my kids & I have once again teamed up with creative food bloggers to create delicious treats for you this holiday season. After we gave you Christmas trees in every conceivable variety and flavor two years ago (our Christmas tree is made of a delicious orange cake) and invited people to the virtual Christmas market last year (we had the recipe for delicious poffertjes), you'll find delicious inspiration for your Christmas gifts from the kitchen this year.
My kids and I love baking – who would have thought 😉 In fact, Christmas time tops everything! In addition to baking, mixing and stirring Christmas cookies, we particularly enjoy putting together Christmas gifts from the kitchen for our loved ones. That's why you can already find a collection of Christmas gifts from the kitchen on our blog (Do you already know our Christmas gift inspo? "10 super-quick Christmas gifts from the kitchen“ or „6 quick Christmas gifts from the kitchen in a jar„)
Today I have something very special for you! This time I conjured up a surprise for my kids: Chocolate bombs on a stick! If your kids love hot chocolate as much as my kids do, I'll now show you how you can make these amazing chocolate bombs on a stick for your kids.

Recipe for our chocolate bombs on a stick
My kids love hot chocolate. Of course, the chocolate bombs on a stick are just the right surprise. If you make the chocolate bombs together with your kids, you should remove the finished chocolate bombs from the silicone molds. This requires some sensitivity. The kids can really get involved in decorating again!

Ingredients
for 4 chocolate bombs on a stick
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 8 teaspoons drinking chocolate powder
- Mini-Marshmallows
- gold glitter spray* (I use the glitter spray from GoodBake)
- White chocolate stars
- Food glue or a leftover liquid chocolate to attach the decoration

Baking accessories
cooking pot, melting bowl, Cakesicles-Molde*, cakesicle sticks, teaspoon, pastry brush, dough scraper

Preparation
- Melt the chocolate in the melting bowl over a water bath.
- Spread the melted chocolate (approx. 1/3 of the chocolate) generously into the cakesicle cavities, attach the cakesicle sticks and chill briefly in the freezer (or refrigerator).
- Then fill the cavities with a second layer of chocolate (again approx. 1/3 chocolate). Be especially careful to spread plenty of chocolate where the stem breaks the mold. If this layer of chocolate is too thin, it can then break when it is removed from the mold, so “more is more” applies! After brushing with the second layer, put the cakesicle mold back in the freezer.
- Now you can fill the chocolate bombs. For each chocolate bomb, I first used 2 teaspoons of Kaba powder and gold glitter spray and then 2 teaspoons of mini marshmallows.
- When the chocolate bombs on the stick are filled, seal them with the rest of the liquid chocolate. Make sure that you seal all edges and spaces well with chocolate. Then you put the chocolate bombs on the sticks in the cold again.
- In the next step you can decorate them as you wish. I used gold glitter spray and white chocolate snow crystals.

You can enjoy the chocolate bombs on a stick by stirring them into hot milk. Even if you give them as a gift, you should inform the recipient, for example in a Christmas card, to stir the bombs into hot milk and then enjoy them.

Schokobomben finde ich toll. Aber deine sehen ganz besonders gut aus.
Einen schönen 4. Advent.
Klasse 🙂
