With our DIY template for colorful starting school banderoles, you can create small, chocolatey gifts for your first-grader's first day of school.
Summer is just around the corner, and with it, for many kids, a whole new phase of life will start: school! Making school cones, trying on and choosing school bags, practicing the route to school… a truly exciting time in the lives of the kids and their families. For this special new phase of life, my kids and I have made little chocolate gifts for the start of school. These chocolate gifts for starting school are sweet little surprises for the first-graders.
These sweet gifts for starting school are a lovely, delicious gift for the start of school – a small gift from the heart!

With the “i-Dötzchen” banderoles you can get creative for the first day of school by
- decorate the the table with them
- putting them into the school cone
- distributing them among the first graders to be in your kindergarten group
- giving them to your 1st grade class as a welcome gift in primary school
...by the way, they can also be easily sent by mail!
I'll now show you how you can quickly make these school chocolates with your kids:
DIY starting school gift with “i-Dötzchen” Ritter Sport banderoles
You only need a few materials to make these school chocolates. Our templates are usually designed so that you can start printing the pretty wrappers right away (Here you can find the print template “i-Dötzchen” for the school enrollment chocolates). At the same time, my kids and I try to inspire your creativity and that of your children. Therefore, you can also edit our templates with your kids creatively, for example, using colored pencils or watercolors, e.g., priming them. You can also simply print them on pastel-colored paper, for example. As always, let your creativity run wild!

List of materials for gifts for starting school
- Printout of the “i-Dötzchen” print template for Ritter Sport Minis (The print template contains 24 banderoles)
- Ritter Sport Minis*
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored pencils, watercolors, etc.
Craft instructions
- Print out the template for your starting school gifts on your printer or at the nearest copy shop.
- If you and your kids want to be creative with the printout of the banderoles, I recommend painting the banderoles before cutting them out.
- Cut out the banderoles along the dotted line. If the dashed edge isn't completely cut off, that's not a problem at all. This gives the banderoles a nice dashed decoration.
- Now place the banderole around the middle of a Ritter Sport Mini board.
- Finally, glue the top edge of the banderol and your starting school chocolate is ready.

My minis and I wish you and your minis lots of fun making the starting school chocolates and a wonderful first day of school!
