With our DIY printable template for colorful “Thank You” bands, you can create small, chocolatey gifts for teachers and others who supported your little ones throughout the school year!
Only one more week until summer break! An exciting school year full of challenges, field trips, and memorable moments is coming to an end! It's the perfect time to say thank you to the teachers and others who have stood by our little ones, taught them so much, and supported, encouraged, and challenged them throughout the year.
With a small, sweet “thank you,” my kids and I want to show a little appreciation to their teachers and thank them for their help and support during the past school year!
Our delicious end-of-year thank-you gifts are a sweet gesture to kick off the summer holidays – a small present with heart… or a bit of “emergency chocolate” for the upcoming school year! 😉

With the “Thank You for the School Year” bands, you can express your gratitude at the end of the school year to:
- Teachers
- Tutors
- Parent representatives
- Music school teachers
- Social workers
- School aides
- Friends who gave you active support
- …and many more!
Let them know how valuable their help and support was to you.
I'll now show you how you can quickly make these thank you chocolates with your kids:
DIY Gift for Teachers with “Thank You for the School Year” Bands
To make these gifts for teachers and other school supporters, you’ll only need a few materials. Our printables are designed so you can start right away with the printed “Thank You” bands (here you can find the printable templates for the teacher gifts). At the same time, my kids and I always try to inspire your creativity and that of your children. So you can personalize the bands with your little ones – decorate them with colored pencils or watercolors, add a painted background, or even glam them up with glitter. You can also print them on pastel-colored paper. As always, let your creativity run free!

Materials List for Teacher Gifts
- Printout of the “Thank You for the School Year” template for Toffifee or chocolate bars (the template includes 4 bands)
- Toffifee boxes (125g) or a chocolate bar*
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional: colored pencils, markers, watercolors, glitter, etc.

Craft instructions
- Print the “Thank You” template at home or at a local copy shop.
- If you and your little ones want to get creative, decorate the bands before gluing them onto the Toffifee box.
- Place the band on the Toffifee box and trim off the white edges on the right and left sides.
- Wrap the band once around the Toffifee box and glue the overlapping ends together with a glue stick. Done! Your thank-you chocolate gift is ready.

Last year, my kids also made thank-you gifts for their teachers and decorated Milka praline boxes. The printable templates for the Milka boxes are also available in our shop.
My kids and I wish you and your little ones lots of fun making these thank-you gifts – and joy in giving them away!
As always, we’d love it if you shared your chocolatey teacher gifts from your kids (and you!) with us on Instagram.
