Dubai chocolate is the culinary highlight at the moment! It's delicious! A great homemade gift for the holiday season! This means you are absolutely “in trend”!
For Christmas, my kids & I like to give away homemade presents! And since we too have succumbed to the Dubai chocolate trend this autumn, we are making delicious Christmas gifts made of chocolate - to be precise: Dubai chocolate!
Our Recipe for Dubai Chocolate
Since our Dubai chocolate is intended to be a Christmas present, we decided on a slightly different shape than the classic chocolate bar! Since we often bake with silicone baking molds (Here you will find my tips for baking with silicone baking molds), we have some pretty molds that we can use for our Dubai chocolate. Based on the Advent wreath, we decided on round chocolate molds (donut mold and midi bundt cake)! Look how pretty the round chocolate looks! I think it's definitely worth becoming creative! 🙂
The recipe is really very simple and quick to make! And considering the prices you pay for Dubai chocolate, it's double worth trying the recipe at home!

- 20 g butter

Baking accessories
Kitchen scales, knife, cutting board, mixing bowl, silicone mold (Chocolate mould*, donut mould*, Medi-bundt mould*, cakesicles*), melting bowl & cooking pot, tablespoon, pan, spatula
Preparation
- First, the chocolate is melted in a water bath.
- Half of the liquid chocolate is poured into the silicone mold and pulled up the edge by 2-3 cm.
- While the chocolate is setting, cut the dough strands into approx. 2-3 cm long threads with a knife.
- The butter is then melted in the pan and the dough strands are toasted in the pan until golden brown.
- The golden brown toasted dough strands are placed in a mixing bowl together with the tahini and pistachio cream and mixed well. The Dubai chocolate filling is now ready!
- In the next step, the filling is spread over the dried chocolate and pressed a little firmly. You should make sure that the filling is not higher than the chocolate edge, otherwise you will not be able to completely cover the filling with chocolate.
- Finally, the rest of the liquid chocolate is distributed over the filling of the Dubai chocolate and the filling is completely covered in chocolate.
- Now the chocolate should dry in a cool, dry place for a few hours.
- When the chocolate is completely dry, you can carefully press it out of the silicone mold and decorate it as you wish: we decorated the Dubai chocolate with pistachios and golden glitter!
