The cute Easter bunny cone cakes are a sweet snacking idea for children. The simple no-bake recipe for Easter is a very special eye-catcher on the Easter table.
My kids and I love baking based on themes! It's self-explanatory that Christmas and Easter are among our favorite baking topics. We already have baked pretty marbled Easter egg Cakes and little cute cuddling lemon bunnies . Today we are also conjuring up something sweet for the upcoming Easter. But because we want it to be quick this time, we don't bake it ourselves, but instead use a juicy ready-made cake from the supermarket shelf for our quick Easter recipe.
Easter Bunny Cone Cakes Recipe
In this quick Easter recipe for Easter bunny cone cakes, your children can help you with many of the steps. Filling the ice cream cones and decorating the Easter bunnies in particular promotes the kids' fine motor skills and is a lot of fun for them!
Piping the cream with the piping bag is the biggest challenge for the kids in this no-bake recipe. But with your support they will also overcome the hurdle.

Ingredients for 12 cone cakes
- 12 ice cream cones
- 350 g lemon ready-made cake*
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 500 g quark
- 2 tsp San Apart*
- 2 packet of vanilla sugar (30g)
- yellow food coloring*
- 125 g pink cake melts*
- 24 sugar eyes*
- Sugar sprinkles / chocolate pearls (I used these sprinkles*)
Baking accessories
mixing bowl, Ice cream cone holder* (you can also place the ice cream cones in a glass or a loaf pan filled with rice), melting bowl* and saucepan (or microwave), hand mixer, piping bag, piping nozzle, baking paper, teaspoon
Preparation
- First, place the ice cream cone holder near you or prepare the holder for the ice cream cones (if you don't have an ice cream cone holder, glasses or a loaf pan filled with rice will also suffice).
- Now let the melts melt according to the package instructions (either in a water bath or in the microwave).
- Your kid can now dip the opening of the ice cream cones into the bowl with the liquid melts and then sprinkle with a few sprinkles - this creates a decorative edge for the cone cakes.

- While the edge of the cone cakes is drying, use a teaspoon to spread 4-5 cm long strips onto the baking paper and sprinkle these with sugar pearls. The strips will become the ears of the Easter bunny cone cakes. You need 24 ears.
- Next, crumble the baked cake in a mixing bowl and carefully pour it into the ice cream cones.

- To make the cream, whip the whipped cream, vanilla sugar, San-Apart and the yellow food coloring (I used 3 drops of liquid food coloring) in a bowl with a hand mixer until stiff.
- The quark is then added and briefly stirred in again.

- Using the piping bag, pipe the cream evenly onto the filled ice cream cones. You can help your child guide the piping bag, but they may also be able to pipe the cream on their own.
- Now the cone cakes become the Easter bunny cone cakes: Each cone cake gets two bunny ears, two sugar eyes and a snub nose made of a large chocolate pearl or special sprinkles.

And the no-bake Easter bunny cone cakes are ready and can be enjoyed on the Easter table!
My kids & I wish you and your kids a lot of fun conjuring up the Easter bunny cone cakes and even more fun snacking 😉
Yours, Lia
